The graph depicts how many students attend secondary school, divided into four categories, from 2000 to 2009.
Overall, It was immediately apparent that the figure for community school experienced an upward trend. Whereas that other category saw a reserved trend.
Moving to a more detailed analysis, in 2009, the percentage of students who attended community school increase by more than a half, inclining to 58% from 12%. By contrast, other schools such as specialist schools, grammar school, and voluntary-controlled school showed a downward trend in 2009. While the former fell from 52% to 20%, the two latters reduced to under 13%, with 12%, 10% each.
On the other hand, there was a greater proportion of community and voluntary school in 2009, with 58%, and 20% respectively, which the figure for community school was a maximum recorded. Standing in contrast, fewer students attend grammar at roughly 12%. Moreover, it appeared that only 10% of students went to special school in 2009, a much lower than other schools.
