One of your friends is going to visit your city for a short period. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter, you should:
• tell him what time of the year is most suitable for sightseeing around the city
• describe some places that are worth visiting
• say how to find an inexpensive hotel
Dear Watson
I am overwhelmed after receiving your letter last week. I am fine and hope that you are also sailing on the same boat. I am penning this epistle in response to your missive as you are planning to visit Shimla.
Well, Shimla is a beautiful hill station and best time to visit this place is during the months of June and July. So, you should come to my city during that time of the year as at this time, temperature is cool while other parts the country bears hot climate. It is the best time to view the beauty of the place. There are many places to see in Shimla and famous of all is The Ridge. You can admire the beauty of the nature from here, beautiful mountains, trees and small houses of the people built by cutting the slopes of the hills.
Beside that there is a church, Jakhu temple and Indian Institute of Research and Technology. We will visit to Mall Road also which is famous for shopping. There are small shops and restaurants also to enjoy different tastes of food. We will have a nice time together. My family will be happy if you stay at my house with us. Although, if you are not comfortable, I will look for a cheap accommodation as many hotels are available nearby to my place.
Waiting for you to pay a visit to my place. Give my love to your children!!!
Yours truly
Peter
