The article and the lecture discuss the Rembrandt's paintings. The author believes that the painting was not portraiting by Rembrandt and gives many reasons for support. On another hand, the professor casts doubt on each author's reasons.

First of all, regarding the inconsistent dressing. The author assumes that Rembrandt would not have been blamed for such an error. However, the professor refutes this point. He says that after proper examination and analysis they found that someone who added the colors to the original portrait after hundreds of year.

Secondly, regarding illumination imperfect. The professor believes that once color removed the original portrait is very realistic because of the simple light clothes reflect the light and resemble Rembrandt's ability in painting.

Finally, regarding the pieces of panel. The author assumes that the portrait was made by several pieces of wood glued together. However, the professor asserts that the original portrait was depicted in single wood panels.
