The diagram below shows the process by which bricks are manufactured for the building industry.
The flowchart shows how bricks for the construction industry are made.
Overall, the whole bricks production process requires 6 steps. It starts with digging raw material and ends by distributing bricks to customers.
To begin with, clay is dug by a machine before entering metal grid which is used to get rid of unwanted ingredients. The final materials then fall directly into a roller. In the next stage, after being added sand and water, the mixture is put in a mound or cut by a wire cutter which forms it to bricks.
Those bricks are then moved to drying oven for 24 to 28 hours before being heat in a kiln at a moderate temperature (200 - 980). Subsequently, they continue to be fired at a higher temperature in another kiln. Once heated second times, bricks enter a cooling chamber to be cooled for 48 to 72 hours before going into packaging at the 5th steps. All of the various stages involved in making bricks have now been completed and final products are ready to be delivered.
