Overall, the majority of water is used for agriculture in the areas such as South America, Africa, South East Asia and Central Asia. In North America and South America, more percentage of water used for industrial purpose. It appears that, water used for domestic purpose is less than 20 percentage in all the six locations.
The majority of water used for agriculture purpose is in Central Asia, which is 88%, while the least consumption of water agricultural purpose is in Europe, which is 32%. The major consumption of water for industrial purpose is in Europe, which is 53% and the least amount of water for industrial purpose is in central Asia with 5%. The majority of water used for domestic purpose in South America, which is 19% and the least usage for domestic purpose is in both Central Asia and South East Asia, which is 7%.
