Hi Dave,
How are you doing? I hope this letter finds you in good health and mental peace. Your letter has come to me with a great excitement of your arrival to India as it’s been ages since we met last time.
When I cannot wait to see you here soon, at the same time, I am truly repentant for my inability to arrange your stay at my home. Unfortunately, my home is under renovation to repair damaged ceiling caused by heavy rain in last monsoon. I feel extremely sorry for this inconvenience caused and wish to make it up to you in some ways. Nevertheless, there is an excellent hotel of my friend, which is right across the street and offers good value for money. Believe me, you’ll feel like home at this place and equally convenient for us to meet whenever we want. Besides, based on our plan to visit several places, we won’t be staying in the hotel most of the time.
Could you please share your journey details, so that I can confirm bookings at hotel accordingly? Obviously, I’ll come to airport to pick you up on the day of your arrival in India. Please feel free to let me know if there is any other arrangements which are needed for yourself.
Again, I’m sorry and really excited to see you soon.
Best Wishes,
Sandip
