The graph despicts about the number of complains which are caused by noise in the city of Newton between 1980 and 1996. There four things which cause noise : road works, traffic noise, factories, and domestic or household. Vertical line represents the number of complaints, while horizontal line represents years.
During 1980 until 1984, the number of complaints that were cause by domestic was stable at 500, then declined slightly and levelled of in a short period before they increased sharply after 1988 onwards. While, complaint which was caused by factories rose slightly in 1980 until 1986, then tended to stable at around 700. The number of complaints which was caused by road works tended to fluctuated with downwards general trend and reached the smallest number by 100 in 1996. The number of complaints which was caused by traffic noise was stable in 1980 until 1982, but began to fall and become stable in a short period at time before increased again in 1988 until 1996.
In conclusion, the number of complaints which was caused by all subject tended to fluctuate from 1980 until 1996. The number of complaints that was caused by domistic, road works, and traffic factories tended to increase in 1996, but road works complaints tended to fall in 1996.
