The table and bar chart show how journey times in a city centre changed after improvement were made to the transport network and the cost of using different form of trnsport in the city
The two charts below show the comparison between vehicles and average cost per kilometre with journey time before and after government made the improvement of the transport network.
The chart shows that bus was the longest vehicle that took 28 to 23 minutes after improvement with the cheapest cost only 0,4 pounds sterling.
On the other hand, taxi was the fastest vehicle with only 9 minutes of getting to main city. Whereas taxi was the most expensive vehicle that cost 1,8 pounds sterling. For people who find the fastest transportation, taxi becomes a choice even it was expensive.
Moreover, car was the second ranked that cost 1 pound sterling and took 5 minutes longer after improvements, from 10 to 15 minutes. Furthermore, the tram was the third rank of transportation that increased dramatically from 22 to 16 minutes with cost only 0,5 pounds sterling.
To sum up, improvements triggered a better change to the transport network. After all, the government served a better life to people who find comfortable and affordable transportation with the fastest time.
