A glance at the bar chart reveals that women tended to do physical more often than men. It is also obvious that the figure for Australian native in the age between 45 and 54 years old is the highest one.
Beginning with people who are from 15 to 24 years old, it is evident that the percentage of men is higher than women, at 52.8% and 47.7%, respectively. However, in other age groups, the rates for women doing regular physical activity are all higher than those for men. In the group of people who are 65 years old or over, two figures for men and women are nearly equal, at 46.7% and 47.1%, respectively.
It is interesting to notice from the chart that the percentage of Australian men doing exercises and that of women showed two opposite trends. The proportion of men is highest when they were from 15 to 24 years old, then reduce steadily and reach the bottom of 39.5% in the age of 35 and 44 years old, before undergoing a slight increase to 46.7% when they were in the oldest age group. In contrast, the figure for women saw a gradual growth from 47,7% to a peak of 53.5% in the age between 15 and 54 years old before falling minimally by 6.2%.
