The given bar graph represents the consumption of water in six different countries based on their purposes.
Among all the countries the main purposes of water usage is on Agriculture, Industrial and domestic. Agriculture contributes more than 70% of water usage in South America, Africa, Central Asia, South East Asia followed by Industrial and domestic purposes. In North America and Europe, the major consumption is for Industrial purpose accounting more than 48% followed by agriculture between 30 to 40% and a remaining of 15 to 20% on Domestic purposes.
Central Asia holds 88% of water usage on agriculture followed by Africa at 84% and then South East Asia at 81% and South America at 71%. Europe and North America has their agricultural water consumption below 40 %. Industrial water usage is the highest around 53% in Europe followed by 48% in North America and 10% in South America. Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia have an average 8% in Industrial usage. Domestic Usage of water account for 19% in South America followed by 15% in Europe and then North America at 13%. Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia has the least domestic usage of less than 10%.
