The maps below show the centre of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development.
These two maps give geological information about Islip town. First map indicates present Islip and second map is blueprint for development. Except few buildings, everything will be changed.
At now, Islip has straight main road which has shop street at besides. Also there are two side roads from main road each one connected with a school and a park. Between the school and the park, housings are located.
There would be many changing in Islip town because big development is planned. In my opinion, the biggest change is road. A dual carriageway will built around the town and road for pedestrian will be located in center of the town instead of main road. The shop streets will be merged by one, however I think the place to shopping will more than before, because new shopping centre will established. Otherwise shrink of the park is planned, the school will be expanded.
I predict Islip people can move to another cities more easily because a new bus station and car park is planned. In addition, for establishment of new housing, more people can live in Islip.
