Fuel-cell engine over internal-combation engin
The lecture and the reading both discuss whether or not Fuel-cell engines effective in automobiles. While the reading states that hydrogen-based engine works better than fuel engine, the professor refutes this, saying that although fuel-cell engines work better, this is not the solution.
First of all, the reading claims that fuel-cell machine work with hydrogen and it is plentiful in nature. The professor argues that it is not easily available. Furthermore, the lecture states that it requires pure liquid hydrogen and it is difficult to obtain. it must require the laboratory prepare and store because it should preserve extreme cold temperature.
In addition, the reading makes the argument that Hydrogen machine less hazardous to the environment it releases fewer pollutants. The lecture counters this point by stating it is not a solution for environmental pollution. According to the professor, pure hydrogen getting from water requires a lot of chemical procedures; which release a lot of pollution through the industry.
Lastly, the reading passage posits that fuel-cell engine economically benefits over fuel engine. The lecture refutes this claim by pointing out that hydrogen engine is expensive it costs more money to design because it is necessary to made with platinum components. Platinum significantly reacts with hydrogen to release energy for the engine to work.
