The first chart below gives information about the money spent by British parents on their children's sports between 2008 and 2014. The second chart shows the number of children who participated in three sports in Britain over the same period.
The lines graph illustrate how much money was spent by British parents very month on their children's sports and the number of children took part in football, athletics and swimming over the period 6 years, from 2008 to 2014.
Overall, it is clear that the amount of average money spent every months increased throughout the period shown. Turning to the participants graph, football was a sport had most participants joined in 6 years.
As can seen from the first chart, the average monthly amount spent on young children's sports by parents in Britain was risen significantly from 20 pound in 2008 to nearly 35 pound in 2014.
On the second chart, the number of children participated in football was highest with 7,5 million children. This number was continuous grown minimally to the end of the period. Similarly, children who joined in swimming rising gradually , started at under 2,5 million but ended at around 4 million. Athletics had the lowest number of participants at beginning. However, this figure was increased sharply , especially in 2014, reached its peak at 5 million children joined in. But it was a sight went down at the end.
