Overall, Europe was the most significant degraded land, while North America was the least. In addition, the Oceania region has a zero percentage of Over-cultivation.
Firstly, in the 1990s, 30% deforestation which causes of worldwide land degradation, and 35% were over-grazing. The over-cultivation was 28% affect the agricultural land and becomes less productive, and only 7% another thing which land degradation.
Subsequently, in North America total land degraded by 5%: 2% of the land was deforestation, 3.3% of the area was over-cultivation, and remaining percentage area was over-grazing.
Lastly, the highest area degraded in Europe 23%, and Oceania region degraded 13%. In Oceania 1.7% deforestation and 9.8% deforestation in Europe. In Europe 7.7% over-cultivation, and Oceania 0%. In contrast, 11.3% over-grazing in Oceania, and 5.5% in Europe.
