On a recent holiday you lost a valuable item. Fortunately you have travel insurance to cover of anything lost.
Write a letter to the manager of Insurance company
Describe the item you lost
Explain how you lost it
Tell the insurance company what you would like them to do.
Dear Sir,
I am writing in reference to inform you about the loss of a valuable item while in transit. Let me explain the incident in detail.
To elucidate I was travelling from Sydney to Perth when I lost my expensive iPhone X which I had recently purchased from an Apple retail store in Sydney. The cell phone was dark grey in colour with metallic white cover. Additionally, my name was engraved on the flip side of the phone which provided it with a distinct look. Although I can't remember when exactly I lost the phone as I was travelling in a crowded bus however I believe someone may have stolen it as such incident has happened before with some of the fellow passengers on the same route. For your information, I have lodged a complaint with the local police station and the case number is 345XRT.
Since my phone was covered with apple care insurance which covers the phone against theft, therefore, I would request you to provide a free replacement of my phone. Lastly, my stolen phones IMEA number is 4567DRBHBCB7, the IMEA number may help you to investigate the case in detail.
looking forward to receiving a free replacement of the phone as soon as possible.
Yours sincerely
Saud
