As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate
The speaker claims that the use of technology to solve problem will cause the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate. In this world of technology, almost everyone has to rely upon the technology to solve their problem or for different reasons.
Today's world has been dominated by the technology. It solves the work accurately in a most convenient way. So why would anyone choose to work on themselves, when they have their technology to do for them? For example, in the ancient time, people used to send letters to convey their regards to their friends and families, this is time consuming and of course not reliable than today's way of sending messages. Due to the use of technology, we could send our message in less than a second.
Using technology for every simple work has lead people to become indolent to solve their problems on themselves. Technology has been used more and more and it is deterioirating humans' thinking capacity and their problem solving abilities as well. If one doesnot has to use their mind, the computer does it, then he/she will choose the most convenient way. People will type their data on computer and solve it, rather than doing by themselves and thinking hard for solving.
The use of computers for problem solving is so fast and is so reliable than human mind. This feature has increased its demand. People rely on them for even a simple mathematical calculation. When people have to multilply a prime integer by any number then people will use calculator to do so without using their own mind. And most suprisingly, computers and calculators do not make mistake but humans can do. So people will find use of the technology very simple, easy, less time consuming and more reliable.
To sum up, the features of the technology has lead to increase the reliability of people upon them. Despite having their own logical mind, one will find them more convenient using them. So I strongly agree to the speaker's assert that the ability of humans to think for themselves will degrade when they rely upon these sophisticated technology more.
