You are a club secretary. An expert from a different country recently gave a talk at the club. Write a letter to thank him/her and say how club members enjoyed it. Include the following in your letter:
– When and where did the talk take place?
– Explain why the members enjoyed it.
– Suggest another lecture to be done in the future.
Dear Mr Daniel,
I am Harry singh, club secretary of villa del Rio apartments India. it was an immense pleasure to attend your lecture on the 'benefits of healthy diet'. I am writing this letter to thank you on behalf of all the club members and the audience.
It was a real eye opener for many of us, the way you discuss benefits of healthy diet on the occasion of national yoga day in our club house. The audience appreciated that you provided balanced diet chart for both vegetarians as well as non vegetarians. In this busy life style, we are so much engaged in other issues that we forgot to keep up a healthy diet. Your quick cooking tips for healthy food was like an icing on the cake. The members loved your lecture so much that they even bought a CD of your lecture to share your views with their loved ones as well.
I request you to book another session with us on the new year eve, I know you must be having busy schedules, it would be really appreciated, if you accept our proposal. Once again thankyou so much , you are an amazing speaker. I look forward to meet you again.
Yours sincerely
harry sandhu
