The graph shows the global water used by sectors (domestic, industrial and agricultural used) from 1900 – 2000. From 1900 until 1950, global water used for domestic is unsignificantly increasing and so for industrial and agricultural used. While from 1950 – 2000, global water used for all sectors are highly increasing caused by the need of human being in water is also increasing. The number of water used by people in agriculture reached up to 1000 km3 in 1950 until 3000 km3 in 2000.
From the table, it shows water consumption in Brazil and Democratic Republic of Congo in 2000. Brazil is a big country compare to Congo, the population of its citizen in this country is 176 million with 26.500 km2 wide area and it is needed 359 m3 water for each person. While Republic of Congo has far small population in it. The population in this country is 2.5 million with 8 m3 needed for each person.
So we can conclude that water used in each sector is significantly increasing from 1950 – 2000 and a big country like Brazil needed more water compare to the country smaller than it that is Congo.
