Your local council is considering closing a sports and leisure centre that it runs, in order to save money.
Dear Sir or madam,
I am writing to you about the proposed closure of fitness and relaxation centre in my community. I understand the fact that you are experiencing financially difficulties at the moment but I am of the opinion that it is not worth closing it down because of the immense purpose the centre serves my family , friends and I. It is a place where we relax and exercise to keep fit.
The centre is very crucial to the general community, as this is a place where most people gets to socialize and exercise due to the sedentary lifestyles most people live.
Needless to say, there are just a couple of functional parks around , where kids as well as their parents could catch some fun , and closing it will, impact negatively on the socialization abilities of everyone and may encourage overweight related diseases , as it is the only place people uses as fitness club to shed some weight and live healthy.
Yours faithfully,
Rose Sharon
