Essay topics:

The following chart show the results of a British survey taken in 2009 related to housing preferences of UK people.

The bar chart illustrates the data on housing preferences of UK people in Liverpool, London, and Manchester. These were apart of the British survey made in 2009.
Overall, London citizens and Liverpool citizens preferred apartments most, while people in Manchester tend toward detached-houses. By contrast, the lowest figures belong to Terraced houses in all cities.
As can be seen from the chart, about 60 % of Liverpool citizens have chosen to live in apartments as nearly three times as Manchester. However, the opposite tendency could be seen in the figures for detached-houses and semi-detached houses, according to around 16% and well over 35% of the preferences expressed in each opinion in Liverpool and Manchester. On the other hand, just around 10% of citizens of both cities chosen terraced houses.
There were about 35% of people in London preferred detached-houses. Next to it was apartments and semi-detached houses which over 35 for the former and nearly 30% for the latter. Finally, just about 12% of London citizens chosen terraced houses.
