The bar chart provides data on level of education in different age while pie chart gives information on level of education in male and female in Scotland, where are located in Glasgow in 2010.
Overall, it can be seen that the majority of people with education were in younger age groups while in oldest people did not have any qualification. The ratio of men and women in all ages were similar and showed little difference between the levels of education.
Looking at the bar chart in more detail it is evident that the level of education in younger three age groups was very similar. However, education level of older people stood at 72% for no qualifications as opposed to 28% for school certificate and university degree. In the 50-70 category, level of education consist of dominantly university degree at 50%.
Turning to the pie chart, it is clear that the proportion of men and women who had school certificate was equal at 33%. Ratio of no qualifications stood at 38% for women as opposed to 35% for women. Finally, percentage of women who had university degree was slightly smaller than men, at 29% and 32% respectively.
