A glance to the bar graph provided shows the comparassion between local calls (fixed line), national and international calls (fixed line) and all mobile calls in the UK since 1995 until 2002. Overall, the minutes of telephone calls in total increased from around 110 minutes to 175 minutes - both in billions.
The numbers of mobile calls in minutes increased considerably from the year 1999 to the year 2002. In 1999, the minutes were around 10 billions while in 2002 the number of minutes were more than 40 billions. The national and international calls (fixed line) went up slightly from 1995 to 2002. The total increase represents around 20 billions of minutes over the time period. The local calls (fixed line) were the most relevant numbers compared with the two other categories. However, despite the peak in 1999, which represents 90 billions of minutes, the local calls (fixed line) decreased after that peak. As a consequence, the numbers of minutes in the end of the period returned to the same numbers in the begin.
