Changes of the parks
The maps illustrate how grange garden has been changed from its opening in 1920 until now. Overall, more features have been enlarged to the structure of the garden.
Looking into the maps in a detail, it can be seen that both Rose gardens and the seats have been removed from the old version of the garden, which was established all over it, to be displaced in one place, in the middle of the garden, only one rose garden remained in the same place on the upper west of it. Another change happened to the garden is the children’s play area which has not been existed before, instead of it there was a pond for water plants. A café that is near to the south entrance, can be seen today, which did not exist before.
Also, It is apparent that there was a stage for musicians, currently it has been altered to be amphitheater of concerts on the east side of the garden. To be noted, Some aspects of the garden did not change until now, such as its entrance, their place remained the same from both the Elton street and Arnold avenue street, however, another entrance is added to them nowadays which is the underground parking entrance.
