You work at home and have a problem with a piece of equipment that you use
for your job.
Write a letter to the shop or company which supplied the equipment.
In your letter
• describe the problem with the equipment
• explain how this problem is affecting your work
• say what you want the shop or company to do
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to complain about the defective internet modem which supplied by your company on September 2019.
One of my apartment neighbor suggested your company for internet connection. I have applied and paid the subscription fees through online, next day installation completed. Broadband was working fine for first few weeks, later internet speed started dropping and, in few days, completely lost the connection. Issue is due to faulty plug point in the modem box. I’m working as a software engineer in IT industry, internet is vital data source for our work. One week in a month, I’m supposed to work on US timings. On these days I will be connecting from home. I started receiving couple of escalation from office because of disconnection issues. To solve fix the issue, I ask you to replace a new device rather repairing the existing one. Secondly, I need waiver or cash back for the internet disconnected days.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Regards,
Sreenivas
