The map illustrates the plan of new buildings in Brandfield. Overall, two shopping centres are planned at the north and south-east of the city centre.
In general, there are few infrastructures around the city centre and the roads, rail and river across the whole city
The city centre is in the centre of Brandfield, which the W-shaped river acrosses the city from the north to the south-west. As well as, the rail and two roads do not pass through the city centre but surround it. The housing area is above the city, area for golf and park is at left hand side. Industrial estate is positioned very right, with the smallest scale.
One shopping centre is planned to be constructed at S1 area which is at between the housing estate and the city centre but also surrounded by the river, big road and rail way. Another place, S2, for new building is very bottom, where it is easy accessible from the city centre and industrial area but slightly far from the river.
