The first pie chart depicts the proportion of utilised energy in Australian household, while the second pie chart illustrates how much emissions of greenhouse in Australian household.
Overall, the amount of lighting and refrigeration gas emissions were towfold than use of energy. Use of energy and greenhouse gas emissions both are low in the cooling, whereas, for heating purposes percentage highest.
For heating purpose the use of energy just under the half (42%), yet greenhouse gas emission accounted for 15% for heating. In the case of cooling, the utilisation of energy was a lowest (2%), as well as the gas emission also lower at 3%. The use of energy halved than the gas emission for lighting, it was 4% and 8%, respectively.
Australian household energy use and greenhouse gas emission both are almost equal in water heating, which was 30% and 32%. Lighting gas emissions doubled in compare to energy use. Other appliances energy consumed less than a fifth, while other appliances gas emission comprised 28%.
