The graph shows data about the number of adult British people who donate money to charities in the years 1990 and 2010.
Overall, donations from the three younger groups of people declined remarkably in 2010 compared to 1990. In contrast, donating people went up in the two older groups. In the 1990 middle-aged people donated more among all groups, and in 2010 it is above aged people who donated more.
Firstly, around 17% of youth between the ages 18 to 25 donated in 1990 compared to that of about 7% in 2010. Similarly, 26-35 aged people declined by around 10% in donations between the years. More than 40% of 35-50 age grouped people who donated in 1990 fell by around 5% in 2010. These are the people who contributed for more donation in 1990.
On the other side, older people of age groups 51 to 65 and above 65 are highly interested in donating as their numbers increased by 5% and 3% respectively between 1990 and 2010. 51 to 65 age people account for more donations in 2010, followed by 35 to 40 age group and above 65 age grouped people with 35% each.
