Differences Between Tennis and Badminton

Both tennis and badminton are racket sports, played on a court with a net in the middle, hitting things back and forth, but they are not the same. The first difference between badminton and tennis is space. Badminton is an indoor sport so you can play at any time without having to worry about the weather. While tennis is an outdoor sport, you will not be able to play the game if the weather is raining or snowing. Another difference is court dimensions. Tennis court is much larger, 78 feet long and 36 feet wide, whereas badminton court measure 44 feet long and 20 feet wide. Therefore, tennis court more convenient for audiences to watch the game. Finally, the biggest difference between the two sports is the weight of rackets. Rackets are one of the most important items in a match, as they are the tool that players use to hit the ball or the shuttle. As for tennis, the weight of the rackets usually varies between 255 and 365 grams, on the other hand, the badminton rackets are only weight from 80 to 100 grams. All in all, these two sports have significant differences. Hence, you can select the racket sport that suits your physical force.
