The maps give the information about the changes of Islip town centre. The new development plan is well-organised and will provide more housing for the citizens. The main changes will be the road which will be changed to a dual carriageway around the new centre and the use of land will be changed.
According to the new development map, there will be an additional of new housing which near to car park and park. Also, the countryside area will be developed to business used and transportation used. Originally, the shop along the main road and near to countryside will become 4 parts which including bus station, shopping center, car park, and new housing. Now, the main road is for car to pass by, however, after the development, the main road will be amended for pedestrians only. after development, the park area will be reduced and next to the dual carriageway. The only thing unchanged is the school and housing at the bottom of the map as they will remain on the same position.
