There have been several complaints about the reception area where visitors to your company arrive. Your manager has asked you to suggest how the reception area could be improved.
Write a letter to your manager.
In your letter
• describe the complaints that have been made
• say why the reception area is important
• suggest how the reception area could be improved
Dear Mr. Matt,
Thank you for inviting me to attend a conference call and for giving me an opportunity to take the lead to dig out the types of complaints that have been made by the visitors regarding our reception area. about
Per the conversation with over 50 visitors. the reception area is very small in size; therefore, most people to wait in long queues outside of the office building for their turn. In Addition, there is no sitting arrangement, and visitors to standup despite their health condition. Finally, the attitude of the receptionist is very rude, she doesn’t speak proper English; therefore, she couldn’t able to provide complete information to the visitors.
Considering the above-mentioned problems. I would strongly express that the reception zone is a front mirror of any organization because it provides the first image of the company in front of visitors. Therefore, I would like to suggest that the size of the front desk area should be extended with a proper sitting arrangement where at least 50 people could easily sit on one go and wait for their turn. Besides, the new receptionist should be hired who must have the expertise to handle multiple visitors professionally, and proficient in communication in distinct languages.
I hope the above information would help you to take the final decision.
Yours sincerely.
