You are working in an international company, write a letter to inform your manager about your resignation. In your letter, you should: thank the company for the opportunity that you joined it tell the reason for your resignation confirm the time you are leaving
Dear Mr. Ram,
I am writing this epistle to notify you of my resignation from my position of Manager at ANZ Bank.
I would like to thank you for selecting me for this job. It was an honor to be a part of your team. I am so pleased with the positive environment and opportunities I earned from every one of the staff. My days in our company with the supervision of you developed me into a more skilled and experienced person. I gained worthful knowledge from you.
It’s a hard decision for me to take, however, because of my travel time of commuting between my home and to our office is making me quite restless as I am spending several hours on the road. Therefore, finding it very difficult to spend some quality time with my family especially children. Another reason is that, I have got new job in another company which is nearby my home so from then on, I can able to fulfill my personal and professional commitments.
This month end is my last working day at our office and please let me know if you need any assistance in my working days.
Again, thank you for the extended support and it was indeed a great experience working with you.
Yours Sincerely,
Tom
