Write a letter to a city planning manager about demolition of a historical building in your area and say
– Explain why it shouldn’t be demolished.
– Suggest a future use for this building.
– Recommend a way to raise money for repairs.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter about, demolition of only historical building in our city on which we are feeling so proud. I born and brought up in this area only when we were small my grandmother used to tell us history behind this building but now when I read news about demolition, I was heart-broken and felt speech less.
About 600 years ago, when Romans came to this city and started business here, they build this first building as their head quarter, moreover, to build this structure they specially called skilled worker from Rome. Whenever I see this one it reminds me of all the history ans stories which has been told by me grandmother. Nowadays, museums are very useful to learn history so if you keep this building then in future government could make this as a history museum which help our community to learn about our rich history and culture.
When I visited last year I saw some part of the building need to be repaired. Although I know municipality of town need strong budget to do so but we are lack of budget. However, If we ask some archaeologist group or charity for funding they surely could help even we could ask people in our community to give donation.
Yours Faithfully,
Jessica Max
