The chart below shows participation in certain leisure activities by children in Australia
The bar chart demonstrates how active Australian kids both sexes from 5 to 14 years old spend their leisure time.
First of all, it is seen that boys and girls in Australia prefer to watch TV and online videos, which constitutes 100% of their participation in selected leisure activities. Moreover, the amount from one in ten to one in five young men more than young women devote their time to the technological and extremal pastime as computer or electronic (80%), bike riding (70%) and skateboarding (40%) with the girls' percentage of 60%, 60% and 30% correspondingly. However, girls on just over 10 per cent more are interested in art and craft in comparison with male adolescences, which makes up 55% to the boys 40%.
Overall, it is logical to conclude that according to the whole chart boys are likely to be more fitted as compared to the female youngsters. This tends to raise a question of how to contribute girls to sport.
