The line graph compares the waste production (in tonnes) by 4 different companies (A, B and C) from 2000 to 2015.
Overall, the amount of waste produced by company A and B showed a downward trend, while there was an increase in the figure for company C. It is noticeable that company B experienced the most significant change during the period shown.
As can be seen from the graph, in the year 2000, the production of waste of company A was highest, at 12 tonnes. The figure for B and C were lower, about 9 tonnes and around 5 tonnes, respectively. Ten years later, the amount of waste produced by company B declined to roughly 7 tonnes after a sharp growth by 2 tonnes over the first five years. During the same period, the figure for company A decreased, compared to a rise was seen in the waste production of company C.
By 2015, C became the company producing the highest amount of waste, nearly 11 tonnes. Meanwhile, the figure for B was down to 3 tonnes, which is significantly lower than that of A, at approximately 8 tonnes.
