Write a letter to a friend who is coming to stay at your apartment while you are away on vacation. In your letter,
Tell him/ her about your flat.
Give him/ her some instructions about his/ her stay.
Tell him/ her what to do in case of problem.
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Dear Arnold,
Thank you so much for your last letter. I was so thrilled to read that you agreed to stay at my house while I’ll be vacationing.
As for my flat, you have already been here but I will also spell out the details for you. The flat number is A3 and the name of the building is Sea View Apartments. Since we won’t be meting before I leave the keys will be with the next door neighbour, Mr. Sharma.
The main door has been jammed since monsoon, so don’t be alarmed if it doesn’t open in the first go. Just give it a push and it shall give way. When you cook, you will have to turn the cooking gas valve to the right, and it’s situated to the left of the stove. The house gets a bit noisy from the evening traffic nearby, so you might want to keep the windows close at those times. In case of any electrical or plumbing issue, you can tell the watchman Rajesh. He will call the right handyman and get it fixed.
Looking forward to meeting you once I return.
Best regards
Arjun
