It is true that nowadays, developing countries are often gotten financial supports by the developed countries. However, the action draws splits opinions. Many people claims that the rich countries should help those poor countries with other types of support instead of affects their financial statement. In my point of view, the rich countries should provide different types of support for the poor countries.
The reasons for the financial support are simple to explain. Firstly, giving away a large amount of money represent how generous and powerful these rich countries are. As the results, those poor countries become the allies with their supporters since they rely on these foreign source of money, which can affects the vote and opinion of the authorities in global meeting. Secondly, poor countries might not use the financial support wisely in order to improve their economy. For example, Pakistan is one of those poor countries who has received extremely high financial support from America, although their crisis has not yet improved in many decades.
Likewise, I must argue that the idea of giving financial support is inappropriate in many ways. In terms of what situation of those poor countries are going through, the rich countries could provide what are consider necessary for their improvement, such as food, medical supplies and military. In this way, poor countries would have the right support to go through their tough time. Besides, the relationship between the supporters and the receivers would be clear and healthy.
In the conclusion, financial support represents an action of helping each other, however, I would argue that this form of help could worsen the situation, instead, rich countries should support poor countries with the right form of help that they need.
