The bar graph demonstrates the portion of British citizens' contributions to charity based on their age in two different years - 1990 and 2010.
Overall, it is noticeable that British people donated more in the past. Nevertheless, the old people aged 51 and above indeed give away more money, meanwhile young people who belonged to the 18-25 age group donated the least in the given period.
In 1990, people aged 36-50 contributed the highest amount of money to charity, with 42% being noticed. Likewise, the 51-65 age group stood at second position with 35% for their hospitality. The 26-35 age group followed a similar pattern with people aged above 65, with 31% and 32% respectively. Lastly, the smallest ratio of 17% went to youth.
After two decades, the generosity level of citizens aged 26-35 dropped slightly to 35%, equivalent to the percentage of elderly people above 65. Remarkably, the 51-65 age group has shown a significant increase of nearly 40% in 2010. Conversely, two youngest groups, 18-25 and 26-35 had a mere minority of aid, with only 7% and 24% recorded.
