and the amount of support they received from employers.
The two bar graphs illustrate the reasons for study according to age of the student along with funding (help with fees) and support (time off) they received from employees as per age group.
Overall, the most number of students (80) under the age of 26 studied because of their career interest whereas the least number of students (19) over the age of 49 studied due to their career interest. Moreover, the least number of students (10) under the age of 26 studied because of their interest whereas the most number of students (70) over the age of 49 studied for their interests. Moreover, the employer support was at its peak for age group of under 26 whereas at its nadir for age group of 30-39.
In terms of students who are motivated to have a bright career, the number of students decreased as the age of the students increased that is from 80 students in age group of under 26 to 19 students in age group of over 49. Conversely, the students who studied because of their interests increase as the age increased that is from 10 students in age group of under 26 to 10 student in age group of over 49. Moreover, the number of students studying for their career as well as for their interests were equal for the age group of 40 – 49.
In terms of employer support, the 65 students who received the most support were of aged under 26 and the lowest amount of support was given to students of age group 30-39.
