The graph below shows the percentage of people in different age groups in one city who attended music concert between 2010 and 2015.
The given line graph compares the proportion of music concerts attendees in a particular city according to age categories over a 5-year-period, 2010 to 2015.
Overall, the rate of attendance of music concerts of most of the age groups showed an upward trend over half a decade with the youngest age groups accounted for the largest percentage. Also, the older the age group, the lesser the proportion of people in that age group attend concerts.
Starting at 40% of music concert attendees, the youngest age group experienced a dramatic rise to about 55% in 2011, surpassed the age group of 25 - 44 (40%), and it then gradually rose and eventually peaked at 70% in 2015. There was a sharp fall in the music concert attendance rate in the second age group (25 - 44) to 40% which subsequently recovers back to 50% in 2012. It then went up mildly to nearly 52% and then levelled off until 2015. The proportion of people in the third age group fell by 10% in the first two years and recovered by nearly 20% 3 years later. The rate of music attendees in the fourth age category rose slightly to nearly 30% in 2011, subsequently remained unchanged in 2 years and dropped by approximately 10% 2 years later. The percentage of people who attend concert in the oldest age group fluctuated over the given period of time and finally reached the top of slightly more than 50% in 2015.
