Overall, the system works during the day and night. It is noticeable that there are five stages to supply electricity to people, beginning with the storage of water on the higher side of the system.
As can be seen from the map, in the first step, the dam located in the high-level reservoir is closed to accumulate water flowing from a river. When the day comes, the dam opens, and accumulated water runs rapidly to a lower reservoir, which operates turbines in the power station lying in the middle of the water journey. It is clear that the turbines have another function at night that is pumping water from the downside to the upside, following the same route.
Turning to the remaining stages of the process of electricity generation, when turbines spin, a generator is activated to produce electricity and then send it to the power lines. At the final step, electricity flows to national grids to reach people around the country.
