The charts below show the total number of applicants the year before and the year after Doolittle University’s social media advertising campaign, organized by age range and how close the applicants live to the university.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Chart given below represent effects on number of applicants enrolling for Dolittle univerisity after social media advertising campaign was organised by taking into consideration applicants who live within 100km of univeristy and those who live further than 100km.
In general, social media advertisment campaign had positive effect within 100km of university's range as number of applicants in each age range increased after it. Whereas, advertisment campaign had somewhat mix result while considering applicants who live further than 100 km from university.
Number of applicants in 40+ age range saw most amount of increment when considering proximity of 100km. Applicants in this age group increased from approximately 10 to 50 after social media campaign. However, not much increment was seen in 40+ age range if we consider applicants who live further than 100km from university and only small increment of close to 10 applicants was observed.
Age range of 18-22 has contrasting result in both charts. Though the overall effect of social media advertisment was postive in both the charts, considerable amount of increment, close to 170 applicants, was seen in applicants who live further than 100km. Whereas the same age group saw a very small increase in number of applicants if we consider applicants who live with in 100km of university.
