Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The charts present bar representing population of japan in past, present and future and a table giving data about number and percentage of people having age 65 years or over in past and present. Additionally, it predicts those percentage and numbers for future as well.
In general, population of people aged 65 years or over is predicted to account 41% of total population by 2055. Table also shows that this percentage of population is continuosly increasing its share in total population from year 1950.
Population of japan saw continuous increase from year 1950 and reached to its peak of 127.8 million in year 2005 during which out of these 25.7 million were people lying in 65 years or above age group. However, following the year 2005 japans population is predicted to go down by year 2055 and it might reach 89.9 millions in total.
Table shows that in the year 1950, when population was 84.1 millions, only 4.9% of people were in 65 years or above age group and rest 80 million were below 65 years of age. Precentage share of this age group drastically increase to 20% by 2005 when total population of japan was 127.8 millions. After this year predictions show that share of this age group will continuoly increase by 2055.
