The maps show an art gallery in Australia in 1950 and now. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The maps given illustrate some changes to an art gallery in Australia from the year 1950 to present.
As can be inferred from the maps, the art gallery has experienced considerable changes during the period shown. The most noticeable differences between the two maps are the appearance of new facilities and the expansion of the art gallery.
Looking at the top of the map, in 1950, there was a courtyard which has been replaced by a children art school, Australian Aboriginal Art and Australian Art. In the southwest of the art gallery, the cafe has been separated into a Toilet and a smaller Cafe. No changes are seen in the layouts of the Temporary Exhibition and Bookshop.
Regarding the right of the map, an Australia Art has been replaced by an Asia Art. There are no changes in the positions of the Early European Art and the Middle European Art. Similarly, the sculpture and the entrance have remained unchanged about their sizes.
