Write a letter to the director of the school. In your letter:
• explain why you chose to study English at the school
• describe the problems you had with the lessons
• suggest how the classes could be improved
Dear Sir,
I am a student of the Cambridge High school for english. I recently started taking my language class from here but found it as an unsatisfying experience. I am writing this to complain about the teaching methods and moreover if I may give some suggestions for improvements.
I was quiet impressed of the information that was shown on the website of the school home page. Even, many of the alumni of this place are to my known in some capacity. so, I thought it will be a great thing for my future as english language is important in today's world for employment.
On my first day, I received a warm welcome from my classmates and teachers. Then, when the lecture started it was disappointing to see that the teacher was not talking in a proper accent and even, some basics about grammar are being wrongly taught. When, I questioned her about this in a polite manner she refused to answer me and suggested me to ask after the lecture was over. All, the other periods went some what the same way and not even the students showed any interest.
I felt quiet cheated with all the things I have heard about the school. I belief there are many improvements needed for the school so that the reputation of this institute be intact. First of all the teachers should be tested before giving them a job in the school.
Second, there should a declamation and a debate competition among the students to built their confidence of speaking freely.
I hope so, you will consider my opinion and take it progressively.
Thanking You,
Yours sincerely,
XYZ
