The chart below shows the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and the amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920and 2019.
The chart illustrates the percentage of households, who used electrical appliances and the number of hours of housework per household in the country between 1920 and 2019.
Overall, the use of electrical items in 1920 was different from each other. The major used as a washing machine. But the refrigerator rose significantly, it was the first item that reached the maximum point. Whereas refrigerator never reached that point.
Firstly, in 1920 the refrigerator was at zero percentage, where another two items were at 30 and 40 per cent. After 20 years all three items were almost near to each other. In 1989 the refrigerator was touched at 100℅, in 2000 the vacuum machine was joint it. But washing machines never cross 80℅, in 2019 it was at 71℅.
Secondly, the major hours per week was in 1920. After that, it alleviated dramatically. Every 20 years it was decreased almost 15 to 29 per cent. In 2019 it was at 10 hours per week.
