Overall, while Latin America was the largest export market of Argentina and Chile, this region accounted for a really marginal fraction of Mexico’s destinations of export. Nonetheless, most of the Mexican goods were exported to the USA, and Chile showed the evenest distribution in its export-markets
With regard to Argentina and Mexico, their exports were almost identical when other Latin America was the largest market of their exportation, which accounted for 38% and 31% of Argentina and Chile’s export locations respectively. Meanwhile, 26% of Argentina’s exports went to Europe, 16% to the USA and 20% to other regions. Likewise, Chile’s exports consisted of 30% to Europe, 18% to the USA and 21% to other countries
In contrast, a vast majority of Mexico’s exports were to the USA, with more than three-quarters ( 82%) exports transporting to America. The remaining countries importing Mexico’s goods all constituted 6% of the whole export markets of this country other Latin America was the least popular export region for Mexico.
