Some people think that robots are very important for humans' future development. Others, however, think that robots are a dangerous invention that could have negatice effects on society. Discuss both view and give your opinion.
It is widely suggested that robotics are beneficial for humans in improving the quality of our life, while others believe that they are unsafe devices that could cause severe impacts on the public. This essay will discuss both statements of this controversy.
I do believe that the heavy use of technology results in the overreliance on it. It is extremely dangerous when the machine manufacturers break down, we often become helpless. For instance, I once struggled with my phone when it was out of battery. I had to do some calculations but I can not use the calculation app then it took me about 10 minutes to handle with number and finally it was wrong.
These occurrences are inevitable, however, this drawback can not outweigh the large number of benefits that robots bring us. First and foremost, robots save us an incredible amount of time and effort. A washing machine, for example, does not require the people's presence to perform its duty and takes us a little time to scrub our clothes. Secondly, robots are beneficial in working because they help us increase our accuracy. In fact, without useful machines such as computers, the work we do would be filled with imperfections and errors. Finally, robotics prevents us from getting several unwanted injuries. It is undoubted that robots handle a large number of hard workplace tasks such as lifting heavy goods or processing dangerous procedures and hazardous materials.
In conclusion, despite several irritating occurrences, I strongly believe that the increasing use of robots is much more beneficial than detrimental to our society.
