The diagram below shows how coffee is produced and prepared for sale in supermarkets and shops.
The diagram depicts the manufacturing process of coffee and its preparation for further consumption at marketplaces such as supermarkets and shops.
Overall, there are eleven steps contributing to the production of coffee, starting with picking the coffee beans and ending with the packing stage.
As per the diagram, first and foremost, workers will pick coffee beans. After that, those hand-picked beans will be dried on the field and evenly spread out using rakes. When the second stage has officially finished, dried beans will then be put into a roasting machine. Following this step is when the temperature of roasted coffee beans decreases rapidly in cooling machines. The procedure then continues with the grinding stage where ground coffee will become powder. Subsequently, it will be mixed with hot water before being strained.
The mixture is then put in the cooling machine once again but at a lower temperature. This will ensure the freezing state of the mixture before being ground for a second time. Next, the water remaining in the ground frozen liquid will be taken out by using a vacuum. Finally, it will be packed into jars.
