The pie charts below show the comparison of different kinds of energy production in France in two years 1995 and 2005

The pie charts illustrate the difference in of energy production such as gas, coal, petrol, nuclear and others in the course of 10 years, starting from 1995.
Overall, it is clear that while the production of gas, coal, nuclear and other energy witnessed an upward trend, the opposite was true for petrol. Additionally, after 10 years, the rate of coal energy was still the highest.
In 1995, the highest percentage of energy production was coal with nearly 30% (29.8%), the second was gas with 29.63%, 0.27% less than coal. The energy in third place was petrol with 29.27%, compared to under a tenth in the proportion of nuclear (6.4%) and other energy (4.9%).
After 10 years, the percentage of coal energy production experienced a slight increase to almost 31% (30.03%), still the highest. The second still belonged to gas, which increased slowly to 30.31%. However, the figure for petrol witnessed a dramatic decrease of over 9% to nearly a fifth (19.55%). The minority were nuclear and other energy, but both increased moderately to about 10% and 9%.
