The diagram illustrates the life cycle of river salmon.
Overall, there are 8 stages the life of a salmon, from being spawn to grown up and migrate to the egg-laying areas.
At first, after being laid in the river, eggs of salmons shall be incubated and emerged to infants, before being reared in freshwater.
When the salmons reached the step of being half-grown, they would be brought into the mouth of a river for being estuary reared, where they shall be ready to join the ocean. Next, all of them will migrate to the rearing areas and began their growth and maturation period in the ocean. In the final step, salmons would migrate back to the spawning areas where they shall repeat this life cycle again.
